The Panzo mobile app is the field companion to the web app, built for the people who spend the day on site rather than at a desk. It runs on the same Supabase backend, so a site engineer, project manager or sales person works from their phone on the same data, with the same login, permissions and org scope as the web.
A companion, not a second app
The app is deliberately scoped to what field staff actually do between visits. It is not a full copy of the web workspace, and it is not meant to be. The heavier actions that provision a project, run an approval waterfall or move money stay on the web by design, so the phone stays fast and focused on capture. See Projects and site for the full picture of what the web adds.
What you can do on the phone today:
- My Day and tasks: your day's work in one place, with the tasks assigned to you.
- Leads: capture a new lead and log calls, notes and meetings with a next follow-up.
- Site progress: file daily site updates and the weekly DPR, with photos from the phone camera.
- Snags and handover: raise and close snags, and tick handover checklist items.
- Attendance and claims: mark attendance and submit expense claims from site.
- Procurement on site: raise site purchases and record goods received.
- Approvals, meetings and aftercare tickets, plus a small client portal slice.
Same login, same permissions
Every request from the app carries your session and is scoped to your organisation. There is no cross-org path. Access follows the same two questions the web asks: module gating(may you open Leads at all) and record visibility (which leads, all, team or own). If you cannot see Deals on the web, you cannot list them on the phone. Records outside your scope return a plain "not found", so ids can never be probed. Your role and hierarchy are set once, in the web workspace, and the phone honours them.
Tip
Work with no signal
Get started
Install and sign in
Open the Panzo app and sign in with the same email and password you use on the web. No separate account is needed.Land on My Day
You arrive on My Day, which shows today's tasks and the modules your role can open. Turn on push notifications when asked so approvals and mentions reach you.Pin your hot buttons
The bottom bar keeps Menu and My Day fixed. Pin up to two more shortcuts you use most, for example Projects, Finance or Tasks.Capture from site
Open a project to file a site update with photos, raise a snag, or log a lead. It syncs to the web the moment you have signal.
What stays on the web
Some actions are web-only on purpose, because they trigger provisioning, approvals or billing that belong on a larger screen with the full context in view.
| On the phone | On the web |
|---|---|
| View deals and their activity | Move a deal to Won or Lost, and sign the agreement |
| See outstanding milestone balances | Record a payment and run its maker-checker approval |
| Read a lead and log activity | Governed lead stage moves and quotation changes |
| File site updates, snags, claims | Configure roles, price books, branding and process flows |
Key takeaways
- The mobile app is a field companion, not a full replacement for the web.
- It uses the same login, org scope and role permissions, enforced down to every record.
- Offline-first: last-good data shows instantly, and captures queue and sync automatically.
- Deals, payments and quote moves stay on the web by design.
