Panzo keeps your team informed with in-app notifications and lets you reach customers on WhatsApp from your own Business number. This guide covers what the notification bell and mobile inbox do, and what the WhatsApp bridge needs before it can send anything.
In-app notifications
One pipeline tells people the moment work is waiting on them, instead of making them go looking. Every event writes a durable entry that powers the web notification bell and the mobile inbox, and fans the same event out as a mobile push. The same events fire whether the action happened at a desk or on a phone, so a claim submitted on site reaches finance exactly like one raised in the office.
Recipients are worked out from the record, not broadcast to everyone. An outcome goes to the obvious person, for example a claim decision reaches the claimant, while a "needs a reviewer" event reaches only the people who hold that permission, so a submission never spams the whole organisation.
| When this happens | Who hears about it |
|---|---|
| A daily site update or DPR is filed | The project manager and the customer-experience owner |
| An expense claim is submitted, decided or reimbursed | Finance reviewers, then the claimant |
| A deal or BOQ is sent for approval, then decided | The approvers, then the requester or quote owner |
| A goods receipt (GRN) is posted | The person who created the purchase order |
Tip
You control push, never the record
The WhatsApp bridge
Panzo can also reach customers on WhatsApp from your own verified Business number, so the customer sees the firm they hired. The first live use is the payment reminder: when finance clicks Send Reminder on an invoiced milestone, the customer receives a WhatsApp reminder and the milestone is marked reminded. Inbound photos and documents a customer sends on WhatsApp are captured into the project chat as real attachments, and an opt-in lead welcome sequence ships ready but switched off.
Important
The bridge ships inert until you configure it
Turning on WhatsApp reminders
Connect your Business number
Link your organisation's Meta WhatsApp Business number to the workspace.Get the template approved
Have Meta approve the payment-reminder template that carries the customer name, project, amount, invoice number and due date.Send from Finance
Open a project's milestones and use Send Reminder on an invoiced milestone; the customer gets the WhatsApp message.
Staff coordinate separately in Panzo's internal team chat, with channels, direct messages, files, read receipts, typing indicators and @-mentions, kept in the same workspace as the work.
Key takeaways
- In-app notifications reach the right person on web and mobile; you can mute push per category while the inbox keeps everything.
- WhatsApp messages go out from your own verified Business number, starting with milestone payment reminders.
- The WhatsApp bridge stays inert until you connect a Meta Business number and Meta approves your templates.
