Every enquiry that reaches your firm, a walk-in, a phone call, a WhatsApp message or a Meta ad, belongs in one pipeline with the source recorded. This guide shows you how to capture a lead in Panzo and tag where it came from.
One inbox for every enquiry
A lead is the first record you create for a prospective client, before there is a deal or a project. Panzo keeps every lead in a single pipeline so nothing slips through the gaps between a phone that rang, a form someone filled and an ad someone clicked. Each lead carries the fields a sales team in India actually works from, without a form full of blank columns.
- Contact details, including a secondary phone and the client's preferred language.
- The requirement: city, project location, work-start timeline and the enquiry count.
- A Presales Owner for routing, and the source the enquiry came in through.
Once a lead is qualified, you convert it into a deal in one step, so the negotiation and the commercials carry on from the same record.
Note
Leads are entered manually
Recording an enquiry
Open Leads and start a new lead
Go to the Leads module and choose New Lead. The form is grouped into Lead Information, Requirement, and Marketing & Source.Capture who and what
Enter the contact name and phone, then the requirement, city, project location and work-start timeline. Set the language preference if it helps the person who will follow up.Tag the source
In Marketing & Source, record how the enquiry reached you (see the table below). For a Meta or Facebook ad, fill the campaign fields manually from the ad platform.Assign the Presales Owner
Pick the Presales Owner who will work the lead. The picker only lists holders of the Presales Owner role, so marketing hand-offs stay scoped to the right people.Save and follow up
Save the lead. It appears on the pipeline board with a follow-up date, and you can call, WhatsApp or email the contact straight from the lead header.
Lead source fields
Tagging the source turns your pipeline into a report on where business comes from. These are the source-related fields available on a lead:
| Field | What it records |
|---|---|
| Data Source | How the enquiry arrived, for example a referral, a walk-in, a phone call or an ad channel. |
| Social Lead ID | The lead identifier from a Meta or Facebook ad, entered manually. |
| FB Campaign Name | The Facebook campaign that produced the enquiry, entered manually. |
| FB Campaign ID | The campaign ID, entered manually, so marketing spend can be matched to outcomes. |
| Enquiry Count | How many times this contact has enquired, so repeat interest is visible. |
Tip
Fill the campaign fields while you have the ad open
Key takeaways
- Every enquiry becomes one lead in a single pipeline, with the source recorded.
- Leads are entered manually. There is no Justdial, IndiaMART or lead-marketplace auto-ingestion.
- Meta and Facebook attribution fields (Social Lead ID, FB Campaign Name, FB Campaign ID) are captured by hand.
- Assign a Presales Owner so the enquiry is routed to the right person from the start.
