Panzo gives clients two ways to stay in the loop: a logged-in client portal for the customer who wants an ongoing home for everything, and one-click share links for the client who just asks "where are we?" on WhatsApp. Both read the same safe, customer-scoped views, so they never expose your costs or anyone else's project.
The client portal
A client logs in once and sees only their own projects: progress updates, the quotes you sent, the payment schedule and its status, shared documents and their aftercare. They never reach the workspace app, and they never see internal costs, margins, other customers or your staff. It is a persistent home for the account, not a one-off snapshot.
- My Projects: every project this client has with you, with a switcher to move between them.
- Progress: the daily progress reporting you already publish, presented for the client.
- Quotes and approvals: the client sees the exact revision you shared and can approve that revision, with the approval kept on record.
- Documents and aftercare: the files shared with them, and a way to raise and follow a service request after handover.
You bring a client in from their contact record with Invite to portal, which sends a secure sign-in invite over email or WhatsApp. When they join, their contact is linked to their own login, so from then on the portal knows exactly which customer they are and scopes everything to them.
Note
One data layer, no leaks
Share links from the record header
Not every client wants a login. From the header of a record you can create a share linkthat opens a read-only Client Hub for that project, no sign-in required. The header gives you three one-click actions:
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Copy | Copies the link to your clipboard to paste anywhere you like. |
| Opens WhatsApp with the link ready to send, the primary channel for most Indian clients. | |
| Preview | Opens the client-facing view yourself first, so you see exactly what they will see before you send it. |
A share link is a snapshot of one project or record and is view-only. It runs on an expiring, revocable token, so you stay in control: revoke it at any time and the link stops working. Because it reads the same safe views as the portal, it exposes progress and status without ever showing your costs.
Which one to use
| Share link | Logged-in portal | |
|---|---|---|
| Best for | A quick status answer on WhatsApp | A client who wants an ongoing home for everything |
| Friction | None, no signup | One-time invite and login |
| Scope | One project, a snapshot | All their projects, persistent |
| Actions | View only | View progress and approve the quote revision shown |
Key takeaways
- The client portal is a logged-in, persistent home where a client sees only their own projects, progress, quotes and payment status.
- Share links open a no-login, read-only Client Hub for one project, created from the record header with copy, WhatsApp or preview.
- Both read the same sanitized, customer-scoped views, so neither exposes costs, margins or other customers.
- Share links run on expiring, revocable tokens you can pull at any time.
